We're adapting, growing, and investing in the future-and we're looking for a sharp, energetic Accounting Manager to help lead the charge.

The Accounting Manager serves within the Corporate Accounting department, working closely with Controller-ship to quarterback day-to-day financial operations. This position is responsible for managing aspects of month-end close, wrangling account reconciliations, training and mentoring a top-notch team, and keeping us US GAAP compliant.

If you are highly organized and detail oriented, able to effectively multi-task and possess a passion for improving processes, you'll feel right at home. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated progressive career development in the accounting field both as an individual contributor and people manager, with strong analytical capabilities, and a proven track record of driving efficiencies through systems, processes, and team development.

Responsibilities:

* Play a key role in the month-end and year-end close processes.
* Own GL maintenance, account reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
* Partner with Finance and other departments to ensure financial tell the full story by addressing and resolving accounting-related inquiries.
* Supervise a team of accountants - coach, support, and develop their growth.
* Analyze expense accounts, proactively identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for cost optimization.
* Identify ways to automate, optimize, and improve financial operations.
* Coordinate with auditors and internal staff during financial statement and overhead audits.
* Support acquisition due diligence, data consolidation and integration activities, as needed.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance (CPA preferred).
* Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within medium to large corporate environments.
* At least 2 years of leadership and people management experience.
* Solid understanding of US GAAP and sound internal controls.
* Tech-savvy-strong with Excel, ERP systems, BI analytics, workflow automation.
* Prior experience in the A/E/C industry highly preferred (double bonus if you have FAR/CAS accounting experience).
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain accounting concepts to non-accountants. 
Demonstrated ability to lead with integrity, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
