				Overview:

The Accounting Manager supports the accounting and control functions at the hotel, while ensuring timely reporting of operating results and maintenance the integrity of the management information system.

Responsibilities:

*  Supervise a team of 5 accounting generalists to ensure timely and accurate financial compliance

*  Work with accounting generalists on financial exceptions and customer service issues.

*  Must have a solid general understanding of A/P, A/R, Cash, Payroll, Income Audit, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.

*  There will be an emphasis on processing bi-weekly payroll, conducting weekly labor meetings and reconciling revenue through the income audit function, and other general duties as assigned.

*  Partner with the Shared Service Center on various functions and month end close.

*  Work with finance leadership to provide accurate and timely financial statements according to the Omni policies and procedures, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and the Uniform System of Accounts.

*  Work closely with all hotel departments to review Systems & Controls and detect problems in these areas.

*  Successfully lead and perform an advisory or interpretive role as well as to recommend controls related to the ethical environment.

Qualifications:

*  College degree preferred, preferably in accounting, finance, or hospitality.

*  Prefer experience in the hospitality industry, or participation in the Omni LID program.

*  General accounting and payroll experience required.

*  Previous experience in a shared service environment is a plus.

*  Ability to meet deadlines

*  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*  Must be service and detail oriented, possessing a friendly approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

*  Ability to work cohesively with associates both within and outside of your department.

*  Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and provide guest follow up in a fast-paced environment.

*  Ability to handle stressful situations, while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.

*  Computer proficiency; with developed Excel skills.

*  The ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends when necessary.
