What You'll Do: As an Accounting Intern at Group 1 Automotive, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable insights into the automotive industry while honing your accounting skills. Responsibilities include: * Assisting with general accounting processes * Participating in month-end financial close activities * Supporting financial analysis and reporting efforts * Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and compliance * Conducting research and assisting with special projects as needed Qualifications: * Currently enrolled in a degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. * Preferred Minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
