Practical Information
Location: Kyiv, Ukraine | Work arrangement: Hybrid | Contract type: full-time | Reporting to: Chief Accountant Ukraine | Language requirements: Fluent/professional Ukrainian, written and verbal, English - ability to read and write
As our new Accountant, you will manage daily finance operations, handling primary documents with customers and non-residents (invoices, acts), recording transactions, processing bank statements in BAS and NAV, exporting and controlling documents in Vchasno, and ensuring BAS and NAV are fully reconciled per month-end schedules. You will comply with Ukrainian laws and work closely with the finance team and advisors to keep all financial processes running smoothly.
Other responsibilities
* Maintain VAT tax accounting, including issuing tax invoices, preparing adjustment calculations, and exporting documents to Art-Zvit
* Account for and control accounts receivable and payable
* Process services from non-residents in BAS and NAV, including preparing adjustment calculations for credit notes
* Prepare service cost documents and enter project data, tracking project hours
* Timely issue and submit standard regulated forms for primary accounting
* Prepare accounting statements and ensure proper archiving of documents
* Adhere to Group reporting procedures and policies
Qualifications:
* Higher education in accounting, economics, or finance
* Proven working experience in accounting
* Knowledge of BAS, Art-Zvit, Vchasno, MS Office, especially Excel
* Attention to detail, accuracy, responsibility
* Good communication skills
