Responsibilities:

As a dynamic Sales  Account Manager - Public Sector, you will be the trusted point of contact for our government and public‑sector customers. You will support them day‑to‑day, ensure their satisfaction, and help them unlock the full value of our solutions. You'll implement account strategies, strengthen long‑term relationships, and proactively identify new opportunities to help public organizations deliver better outcomes.
 
Customer Relationship & Experience
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, building and maintaining strong, long‑term relationships.
* Take full ownership of the customer experience, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring all interactions reflect excellence.
* Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, challenges, and objectives to offer the most relevant and value‑driven solutions.
Delivery & Service Excellence
* Ensure the timely and successful delivery of SoftwareOne solutions, coordinating seamlessly with internal teams.
* Manage day‑to‑day customer and partner requests, ensuring responsiveness and high‑quality service.
* Provide customer services remotely, leveraging digital tools and platforms to optimize engagement.
Sales Growth & Opportunity Management
* Drive proactive new sales, including cross‑sell and upsell motions, contract renewals, and expansion opportunities.
* Identify growth potential within existing accounts, ensuring continuous pipeline development.
* Lead and support renewals, negotiations, and opportunity management across your customer portfolio.
Account Strategy & Performance Management
* Develop, maintain, and execute a highly efficient account management plan, with a strong focus on PyraCloud and self‑service adoption.
* Track, forecast, and report on defined account metrics, KPIs, and financials to ensure transparency and effective decision‑making.
* Maintain accurate documentation, planning, and forecasting disciplines to ensure internal alignment.

Qualifications:

Experience & Skills
* Proven experience in account management, customer success, or sales-preferably in technology, cloud, or software solutions.
* Strong communication, relationship‑building, and stakeholder‑management skills.
* Ability to understand customer needs and articulate solutions that deliver measurable value.
* Comfortable driving renewals, identifying new opportunities, and managing commercial discussions.
* Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to track KPIs, forecast revenue, and interpret customer data.
