Contract: Permanent

Workplace: Hybrid - 2 days in office per week in Hemel Hempstead Office

Hours: 35

Reports to: Sr. Manager, Partner Account Mgmt (Commerce)

We are seeking a Commercial Account Manager to join our UK Retail Team, responsible for driving the continued growth of both our own-brand and third-party gift card ranges within one of our key retail partners.

This role carries full commercial responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, planogram optimisation, and the onboarding of new products. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in identifying market opportunities, responding to commercial trends, and expanding our presence within the retail landscape.

Responsibilities:

* Account Management: Build, grow, and maintain the relationship with one of our largest key retail accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for all matters related to our gift card portfolio.
* Customer Support: Serve as the first point of contact for queries regarding gift card sales, stock levels, and development work, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
* Operational Leadership: Lead business-as-usual activities including sales analysis, customer service queries, fraud and sales reporting, and product placement.
* Performance Analysis: Analyse weekly and monthly sales and profit data to identify trends, assess performance, and support strategic decision-making.
* Product Onboarding: Manage the onboarding of new physical and digital products, coordinating with internal teams to meet deadlines and ensure process compliance.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and retail partners on merchandising, demand planning, planogram optimisation, and fraud prevention, while developing deep market knowledge of the UK gift card landscape.

Qualifications:

* Commercial Awareness: Proven experience working in a highly commercial environment, ideally within the retail sector.
* Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build trust and credibility across all levels, including senior management.
* Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with a track record of building insightful reports and PowerPoint presentations.
* Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills, including manipulation of large data sets and creation of detailed reports.
* Problem Solving: Innovative and solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and influence cross-functional decisions.
* Accountability and Time Management: Demonstrates strong ownership, with the ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and deliver results.
