Overview:
As a German Account Manager specializing in Advanced Imaging Technologies (AIT), you will be a quota-carrying owner of named customer accounts. This is a technically focused role centered on asset intelligence and tracking solutions. You will be a specialized account manager, dedicated to building customer relationships and supporting clients across diverse sectors, including healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and logistics.
This position is ideal for a Sales Engineer or Technical Account Manager looking to leverage or build their technical expertise in a customer-facing sales capacity. You will be responsible for the entire sales process, from prospecting and managing the end-to-end sales cycle to closing business, with a focus on dedicated engagement through both virtual channels and field visits.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a target list of customer accounts within Germany, with a specific focus on driving sales of Zebra's Advanced Imaging Technologies (AIT) product portfolio.
* Own the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and closing business to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
* Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within your client organizations.
* Serve as the technical subject matter expert for Zebra's print product portfolio, helping other sales teams understand our solutions in detail to better support their clients or win strategic projects.
* Utilize Zebra's sales plays to effectively position products and solutions that address customer needs and outcomes.
* Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities, diligently using CRM tools for activity tracking and sales forecasting.
* Leverage data and insights from CRM tools to inform sales activities and provide accurate management reporting.
* Proactively collaborate with and share best practices among colleagues in the regional hub to foster a supportive sales environment.
* Work in close alignment with Regional Sales, Marketing, Product, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a unified sales effort.
* Stay consistently informed about industry trends, the competitive landscape, and new product developments to effectively meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
* 2+ years of experience in a technical sales, sales engineering, or account management role, preferably within the technology or AIT sector.
* Fluency in both German and English is required.
* Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of business sales processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a self-starter attitude and strong work ethic.
* Resilient, coachable, and possessing high emotional intelligence.
