We're seeking a Sales Consultant who thrives on hunting and closing new business opportunities in the commercial low voltage security space. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role focused on driving new revenue through prospecting, relationship-building, and consultative selling.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify, target, and develop new client relationships in the commercial, retail, institutional, and multi-tenant real estate markets around the greater New York City area.
* Conduct client meetings, site surveys, and security assessments to develop tailored solutions.
* Create and deliver compelling proposals and pricing strategies that win business.
* Maintain a strong understanding of competitive offerings and market trends.
* Input and manage all sales activities in CRM systems (WeSuite, FieldHub, etc.).
* Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions sold to clients
* Represent MSL at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in electronic security, low voltage systems, or commercial technology solutions.
* Proven hunter with a successful track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and winning new logos.
* Deep understanding of access control, video surveillance, intercom, and intrusion systems preferred.
* Exceptional consultative selling and communication skills, with the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders.
* Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and proposal generation tools.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage complex sales cycles independently.
* Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience).
