Kinaxis has a well-established team of Sales and Professional Services professionals across the US. Our newest office is based in Irving's Las Colinas development and will serve as a centralized hub where employees and customers from across the US can come together to work towards solving some of the biggest challenges facing supply chains.

Responsibilities:

As part of our continued growth, Kinaxis is expanding its Japan presence and market share.  We offer a unique opportunity for top talent to contribute to a growing and dynamic business that offers the benefits of an established client base located within the region.  Top quartile referenced product portfolio along with company stability and resources to deliver and execute its growth strategy.

The role of Account Executive will be responsible for winning new business and revenue through our Reseller partners in the Japan region, and working closely with Kinaxis senior management to contribute to the overall growth strategy of Kinaxis. Qualifications:
What you'll do
* Selling Renewals and Upsells to our current account base using proven Sales Methodology or MEDDPICC/MEDDIC
* Understanding the prospects' and customers' critical business issues and strategic initiatives and linking Kinaxis solutions to ensure achievement in these key areas.
* Selling Professional Services with Client partner to our current account base to adopt our solutions.
* Managing the execution of Kinaxis' sales process and leveraging appropriate Kinaxis resources to renew/upsell license subscription bookings.
* Providing accurate sales forecasts based upon realistic close timelines.
* Communicating product improvements and recommendations that originate in the field
* Utilizing Kinaxis' sales force automation tool to track all opportunities and prospect/customer related information.
What we are looking for
* Ten to fifteen years' experience in Account Management/selling strategic, enterprise level mission critical solutions (SCM, ERP, BI)
* Client focused Account Management/Customer Success background.
* Demonstrated track record of working with large, complex accounts.
* Experience working in different JAPAN markets and geographies
* Experience working within a Global based operational companies a definite asset.
* Experience Ability to penetrate and sell to executive-level decision makers.
* Ability to sell to multiple constituencies within an organization (Manufacturing Operations, Demand Management, Finance, IT)
* Consultative, value-proposition/business case-driven sales methodology experience.
* Must be an articulate, persuasive, and passionate communicator
* Embrace a dynamic and innovative work environment that fosters creativity and a youthful spirit, regardless of organizational maturity
* Ability to work and act independently and be pro-active
* Solid language skills with native or very fluent skills in Japanese & English(business level will be nice to have) and ideally very fluent with at least one further language
