				Overview:

Responsibilities:

* Develop budget estimates for new proposals, budget revisions, and contract amendments reviewing requests for proposals (RFPs) and associated documents;
* Be responsible for ensuring that proposal assumption and budget meet customers' expectations and specific requirements, and are properly expressed with consistency in the documents and contracts;
* Draft and review contracts for business implications closely working with the Medpace legal team in the US headquarters; 
* Monitor changes in project requirements, invoicing and/or modifications to ongoing contracts closely working with project finance and clinical operation team members around the world;
* Track and analyze ongoing performance of projects (i.e. financial health) by reviewing invoices and other financial reports against budgets while notifying internal and external stakeholders if potential issues or changes are noted;
* Lead project members in terms of budgeting and contracting, while managing schedules so that proposals, budgets, contracts and reports (i.e. deliverables) meet the due dates.

Qualifications:

* Holds a University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or Healthcare;
* Enjoys working in a dynamic environment;
* Pays attention to accuracy and details;
* Is curious with a desire for continuous learning;
* Has a good command of written and oral communication skills in English and Japanese;
* A working knowledge of financial and accounting processes is a benefit;
* Is comfortable using the computer, (e.g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
