Responsibilities: This position is hybrid, must be able to work in Wyomissing, PA. We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS serverless technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining serverless applications, ensuring scalable and efficient solutions using AWS services and integrating with either on-prem or other cloud services. Roles and Responsibilities: * Designing robust and scalable cloud solutions with considerations surrounding reliability, performance, scalability * Write clean, efficient, and maintainable to achieve low latency and fast throughput. * Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes, ensuring rapid and reliable application deployment. * Writing unit test cases to ensure quality assurance and durability of code through the development life cycle. * Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure application reliability and performance * Ensure that applications adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements, including data protection and secure coding practices. * Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Software Engineers, and stakeholder to deliver enterprise solutions. * Stay current with emerging AWS technologies and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance system performance and scalability. Qualifications: * Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university. * 3 or more years of software engineering knowledge on cloud architecture and working with EC2, S3, Lambda Functions. * Experience developing with one or more serverless programming languages (Python, Go, etc..) * Experience with event driven architecture and services (Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis ) or other related tools. * Experience with working with relational databases and noSQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redshift, Redis, Aurora). * Experience with creating docker images and deploying containers. * Experience with creating automated unit test cases for serverless function. * Experience with local stack and integrating this with the technology stack * Knowledge with CI/CD configuration pipelines and setting up a deployment process into the cloud using Jenkins. * Knowledge with Amazon CLI command line tools. * Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving and clearly communicating solutions.
