In this pivotal position as an AWS Channel PreSales Specialist, you will own the AWS pre‑sales motion for all channel‑driven opportunities. You will drive deal strategy, commercial positioning, and the activation of AWS programs - maximising pipeline velocity and revenue outcomes across the AWS distribution and ISV landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the AWS pre‑sales process for distributor‑ and ISV‑initiated opportunities, ensuring strong commercial and strategic alignment
* Shape deal strategy by collaborating with internal sales teams, AWS distributors, and ISVs to position AWS solutions and build compelling commercial offers
* Activate and execute AWS funding and incentive programs (including MAP) to accelerate customer decisions and increase win rates
* Drive measurable impact on pipeline growth, deal velocity, and Total Contract Value (TCV) within AWS channel opportunities
* Engage directly with ISVs, distributors, and end customers through value‑focused discussions, presentations, and workshops
* Maintain close alignment with all stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and momentum across the AWS channel ecosystem
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in AWS pre‑sales, cloud sales, or channel sales with strong exposure to AWS distributors and ISVs
* A commercial mindset with the ability to shape deals, influence revenue outcomes, and accelerate pipeline progression
* Solid understanding of AWS services, pricing structures, partner programs, and funding mechanisms
* Ability to translate AWS technical capabilities into compelling commercial value statements
* Strong stakeholder communication skills (Dutch & English as mandatory), comfortable engaging at both technical and business levels
