Responsibilities:
The AWS Business Development Executive (Pre-Sales) at SoftwareOne plays a crucial role in managing the sales lifecycle of AWS solutions, requiring advanced technical expertise and a strong focus on customer engagement and solution delivery.
* Manage AWS sales lifecycle: Responsibilities include analyzing client requirements, responding to RFPs and RFIs, preparing cost proposals, conducting product demos and proof-of-concepts, and collaborating with sales and delivery teams to ensure project success.
* Customer and partner engagement: The role demands building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and AWS representatives, independently conducting meetings at various organizational levels, and supporting partnership initiatives including go-to-market and business planning.
* Technical and cloud expertise: Candidates should have at least five years of technical sales experience with AWS products, a solid understanding of AWS architecture, migration planning, and cloud solutions design, and preferably hold AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect

* Core Accountabilities:
* Ability to effectively manage the AWS solutions & services sales lifecycle.
* Performance and success measured by Services GP performance within a region, territory or defined account base.
* To analyse & gather business requirement from client environment and perform required research and investigation to identify and create thorough, accurate technical solution proposals based on requirements, aligned to the SoftwareOne customer journey's.
* Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical questionnaires with accurate and compelling information.
* Prepare cost estimates & proposals for solutions & services sales.
* Conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and workshops to showcase AWS capabilities.
* Work with sales teams to contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying issues that must be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommending options and courses of action; implementing directives.
* Collaborate with internal teams (sales, delivery, and product) to ensure seamless handover and project success.
* Assist and support partnership/alliance functions to assigned vendor partner relationships. This may include assisting in GTM and business planning as well as driving forward programmatic initiatives.
* Highly motivated and results oriented - evidence of consistently exceeding acquisition specific performance metrics.
* 5 years of proven technical sales experience, including at least 1-2 years of experience selling AWS products and services in Indonesia.
* Ability to independently conduct meetings with engineering-level, management-level or executive level customer personnel in regard to positioning complex solutions & services.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and AWS representatives.
* Stay updated on AWS services, industry trends, and best practices to provide innovative solutions.
* Cloud Services Skills:
* Strong understanding of AWS principles, architecture and management.
* Understanding around migration planning & execution including migration to AWS, re-platforming of on-premises solutions to cloud-native incl. compute, network and storage, logging & monitoring.
* Proposing problem solving activities and approaches for dynamic customer challenges within engagements.
* Technology and business enablement advocate to advise the best practice methods in how to utilize IT to drive competitive advantage.
* Experience in building value proposition around designing and implementing cloud and hybrid solution projects.
* Strategy is optimally aligned with business strategy.
* Proven experience in a presales, solutions architect, or technical consulting role, preferably with AWS.
* AWS certifications (such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional) are highly desirable.
