Overview: POSITION SUMMARY: According to professional standards of care, the APN Cardiology Fellow performs a variety of advanced nursing / physician assistant functions. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served. Qualifications: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master's degree in nursing Licensure/ Certification: IL Registered Nurse License IL Advanced Practice Nurse License Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
