Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities:

THIS POSITION IS REMOTE 

* Responsible for responding to supplier inquiries and providing effective internal / external customer service.
* Reviews invoices for proper handling, coding, and approvals
* Researches supplier claims and provides feedback on status and actions needed to resolve issues using multiple systems & other online applications 
* Reconciles statements using v lookup tools.
* Assists in auditing invoice batches prior to posting.
* Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.  
* Liaison with multiple property Finance teams on AP issues and opportunities to streamline processes
* Monitors compliance to key overall AP department performance measures within established guidelines. Offers feedback and implements approved changes to improve processes.
* Maintains strong supplier relationship for assigned areas and vendors.
* Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
* Performs duties with a general understanding of SOX controls

Qualifications:

* Associate's Degree (A.A.) in Accounting or other related field; or two or more years of experience in an accounting or AP team; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience with multi-unit company preferred.
* Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written). 
* Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, and Word). 
* Must have strong organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
* Must be detail oriented.
* Must be able to develop and maintain cordial and professional relationships with all levels of the business.
