Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring for an AOR-Wide Communications Engineer. This position will be located in AUAB, Qatar and will be an on-site position. Responsibilities: Provide AOR wide engineering support. The contractor shall: * Design, produce and implement IT solutions to integrate systems into AFCENT enterprise; * Troubleshoot, and optimize theater communications systems; * Research current and emergent technologies; * Provide analysis on technical specifications, limitations, potential implementation, and recommended courses of action. Qualifications: Required Skills and Experience: * Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience) * Clearance Required: Secret * Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering from an accredited university * 10 years' practical experience in support of communications electronic systems or equipment; have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, understand IP routing and architecture design, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks * 6 years' engineering experience in: information technology; IP Network Design and Architecture Development; RF Communication * Satellite Communications; Telecommunications; Tech Control; Command & Control (C2) System * 5 years' experience in military communication systems Preferred Skills and Experience: * TS/SCI Clearance *Pending contract award #proposal
