Responsibilities: The Air Traffic Controller is responsible for ensuring safe separation of aircraft, coordinating air traffic control clearances, and controlling all flight line activities of all transient aviation. The Air Traffic Controller maintains tower event logs, performs weather observer duties, and issues all relevant notices and approvals for aviation transit activities. Qualifications: Essential Duties & Job Functions: * Relay ATC clearances to inbound, outbound and over-flying aircraft. * Provide airfield advisory service to arriving and departing aircraft. * Responsible for the effective operation of the Allan Army Airfield Control Tower. * Transmits Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) as required and maintains Flight Information Publications (FLIPs). * Performs controller duties to include safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic. * Controls and monitors all access and activity on the flight-line Controlled Movement Area (CMA). * Performs other related work as assigned. Accountable For: * Following common safety practices and use of proper protective equipment used in aviation. * Dealing with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner. * Ability to work well under pressure. * Effective oral and written communication skills. * Demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills. * Adherence to established CGS, LLC safety policies and good industrial and office safety practices. * Compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures and Personnel policies and procedures.
