Responsibilities:

Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of cybersecurity principles. Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with a preference in a related field such as Computer Science/Information Systems, or Data Science.

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications:

Role Summary

Help operationalize AI governance across policy, procedures, and guidance. Develop practical artifacts (playbooks, templates) that enable compliant, responsible AI delivery.

Degree/ Skills required:

* Pursuing a degree in IT/Data Governance, CS/IS, Data Science, or related.
* Excellent research and technical writing skills; stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

* Draft, review, and update AI governance PPI (policy/procedure/instruction) content and quick‑start guides.
* Build intake and review templates; improve the Use‑Case Register workflow.
* Perform comparative analysis of external standards.
* Conduct user survey and compile results to determine effectives AI governance

Preferred Skills

*  Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, or other IT/AI governance frameworks.
*  SharePoint/Confluence page building; Excel/Power BI for reporting.
