Job Overview:

*Physics Teacher (A-Level, Secondary) in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province
*Start Date: September 1, 2015

Position Objectives:

1. To ensure a caring, happy, challenging, safe and structured environment for students and staff
2. Under the direction of the Head of Science, to develop and implement a science curriculum, with equal emphasis on theoretical and practical dimensions, that fulfills the aims and goals of the school and reflects the needs of the students

Necessary Experience:

*The delivery of British National Curriculum and IGCSE English.
*Whole-school EAL programmes.
*Post-16 EAL programmes which enable foreign students to access UK (etc.) universities (to include IELTS).
*Teaching in a mixed-ability classroom.
*Knowledge of alternative EAL curricula and qualifications
*Knowledge of recent developments in teaching and learning 

Qualifications:

*Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
*Teaching credential in your home country (A-level or IGCSE)
*Native speaker of English, preferably from the UK. Native speakers from Canada, the US, *Australia, New Zealand and South Africa will also be considered.
*In good physical and mental health
*A clean criminal record
*TEFL/TESOL or a CELTA is preferred 
*Must be able to commit to a two year contract
