Overview:
The purpose of this internship is to prepare students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is
designed to provide students with experiences that provide insights into a career with Zebra. Students will be positioned for success with training and hands-on experiences, invited to social and development activities, and provided a professional mentor relationship.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with Data Gathering: Support Service Strategy Optimization Managers by collecting and organizing data for various strategic projects.
* Conduct Foundational Research: Research emerging technologies, particularly in the realm of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and report on how they could be applied to our services.
* Support Process Analysis: Help the team analyze IT process performance by gathering metrics and documenting findings.
* Track Project Data: Assist in tracking data related to New Service Introductions (NSI) and New Product Introductions (NPI) to help managers monitor progress.
* Compile Benchmark Information: Research and compile information on industry benchmarks to help identify potential areas for improvement.
* Prepare Reports and Presentations: Help create clear and concise reports, charts and presentations to communicate findings to the team.
Qualifications & Skills
* Process Improvement Mindset: A strong, inherent desire to find better ways of doing things and a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies is a must-have for this role.
* Interest in AI and Automation: A demonstrated interest and foundational skills in AI and automation technologies, with a curiosity for how they can be applied to improve business processes and services.
* Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
* Analytical Mindset: A natural curiosity and good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
* Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to learn about the ITIL framework, process improvement methodologies, and new technologies.
* Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly.
* Collaboration: A proactive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Tool Proficiency: Strong skills in the Microsoft Suite and scripting for data automation and analysis.
