We are seeking Seasonal Ticket Office Client Services Representatives who play an essential role in the US Open guest experience. 

Responsibilities:

The Role 

To provide customer service and enhance the USTA's image by following customer service policies and procedures

* Respond to general customer inquiries, invoice questions, and customer complaints by
phone, email and chat in a prompt, efficient, and professional manner
* Respond to inquiries by researching and resolving problems related to transactions handled
by the Ticket Office
* Provide all guests with ticket access info, plan information, and mobile delivery
* Skillfully interact with fans of the US Open and USTA Staff to provide a positive experience
* Assist Ticket Staff with various projects. Projects may include
*  tracking and reporting of ticket sales and/or availability
* shipping
* price checking
* other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Who You Are

* Available to work for the full duration of the US Open tournament (approximately 3 weeks
from August 15 through September 7), including nights, and weekends and available to work
12+ hour shifts
* Must attend mandatory training and orientation dates held in late July/early August
* Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently and computer proficient to access/update customer records
* Working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Maintain a positive, outgoing demeanor, adhering to the core expectations of our team at all times and possess ability to work as part of a team and get along with coworkers
* Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment and during stressful
situations
* Arrive for shift on time, neatly groomed, and in a clean, pressed, well-maintained uniform
* Willing and comfortable working part of daily shift outdoors in various weather conditions in
late August/early September
* Personable and proactive in providing assistance to all guests with the highest level of
customer service
* Excellent communication skills with thorough understanding of written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a ticket office for major sporting event, team or venue
* Previous experience working in hospitality, sales or in a call center

* Bilingual is a plus, but not necessary

* Knowledge of ZenDesk, Ticketmaster Archtics (or similar ticketing system)

Compensation: This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $18.00.

Uniforms: Employees will be provided with uniforms to ensure a professional and cohesive team appearance.

Daily Meal Allowance: A meal allowance will be loaded onto your credentials each workday during the US Open, allowing you to enjoy meals on-site during your shift.
