.NET Developer

				Overview:

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking .NET Developers to work onsite at the Shipley Building Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) in Columbus, Ohio. This position requires candidates to be located within commuting distance of Columbus and offers a collaborative, agile environment focused on modern application development and legacy system modernization.

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and implement .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, and SQL Server.

* Rewrite and modernize legacy applications to align with current ODPS standards.

* Develop and maintain N-tier architectures that ensure scalability and performance.

* Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, QA, and developers in an agile environment.

* Conduct requirements gathering, architecture design, application testing, and deployment activities.

* Present project updates, demos, and technical documentation to stakeholders.

* Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.

* Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions.

* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

* Proven experience in .NET application development using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, and SQL Server.

* Demonstrated experience developing and deploying N-tier applications.

* Strong understanding of modern software development practices and agile methodologies.

* Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.Proven ability to manage time and resources effectively to meet project deadlines.

* Must pass an ODPS background check.
